preamble
When we develop with IDEA, we often set up a variety of configurations that get personalized over time. It's becoming more and more comfortable to use.
However, there may be a problem here, which is that one day we have to reconfigure down again when we have to change a computer or want to install a new version of IDEA. The complexity of this is comparable to reinstalling a system and then installing various software.
So, is there any way we can import the original IDEA configuration to the new IDEA with one click?
How to set up
First, we click [File] - > [Manage IDE Settings] - > [Export Settings].
Then, you can see that there are a lot of configuration files. What Code Style ah, Key map ah and so on. Generally the default is to check all the boxes, so as to ensure maximum consistency with the original.
Then after exporting, it's a zip file, which you don't have to open.
Finally, we are in the new IDEA inside, in turn, click [File] - & gt; [Manage IDE Settings] - & gt; [Import Settings], select the file we just exported, import.
Demonstration effect
Finally, it's time to import our settings in.
