I'm not sure if it's a problem, but the more tired and fulfilled I am, the happier I am (but remember to work and rest regularly, otherwise the fall recruitment physical examination will give you a head start). People in this life, when you're young, there are only a few decades and a hundred years, this time not a little tired, not a little hard work, do you still wait for a hundred or two hundred years old after the fight? 2 Personal experience
Having roughly reviewed my fall recruiting timeline earlier, here are some lessons learned from that long process.
For me, I definitely don't have a lot of things that I would call doing well, but I have stepped in a lot of potholes, so I do have some advice or experience in avoiding potholes. Some of these experiences, perhaps I can still be used in the spring recruitment, but most of me although I realized, but it is too late to correct, so also sent for your reference.
Then, in accordance with the preparation process for fall recruitment, let's summarize our own experience of stepping on pits and avoiding pits. Of course, combined with their own actual situation, the experience summarized here is more or less more suitable for software development, back-end R & D direction of the post. In addition, at present, these points of experience, said a relatively broad; specific detailed content, after the time can be updated.
Early and clear direction. Will you be employed, or will you be furthering your education? If employment, which direction of posting, which type of enterprise? If further study, is it domestic or foreign, and what direction of the subject group to choose? The sooner you figure all this out, the better. Although I often say that there is no hurry when I talk to my siblings about job hunting and further study, and that it's okay to figure it out before the third year of graduate school, it's better to do it as early as possible. When I was interning, the group next to me came to a senior to graduate school to Peking University students, the remaining half a year of undergraduate time to internship - regardless of the eventual graduate school, he chose to go to academia, or to find a job, at least as early as in the senior year on the accumulation of a period of large factories (I think you can call it) of internship experience, for their own measure of Personal interest, as well as later if the job search if the delivery of resumes, interviews and other processes, are very helpful. Looking back at myself, I was fortunate enough to be able to go to graduate school in my senior year, but that year was so chaotic that I don't even know what I did that year. If I could go back in time, I would have been the first to intern in Beijing hahaha.
Start preparing as early as possible. Once you have a clear direction, you need to start preparing for that direction as soon as possible. For the fall recruitment, I feel that half a year in advance (starting from the end of the winter vacation of the year of the fall recruitment) to prepare, can not be said to be early enough; the best is a year in advance (the summer of the end of the first or second year of study) to prepare. In the case of development positions, once you have determined your intended direction, you will need plenty of time to prepare for brushing up, memorizing eight units, and if you have a surplus of time you can roll another project or two. A matching internship at a large factory is desirable. I was average, but really lucky - although I started preparing late for fall recruitment, I was fortunate enough to participate in a daily internship at DDT the summer after my second year of study. In almost every interview, the main focus of the questioning was on this one internship, plus a few internships and course design experiences that I participated in during my undergraduate studies. Some interviews, in particular, were less than an hour long in total, and the questions dripping with internships could be 30 or 40 minutes long. Imagine, if there is no internship experience, then the interviewer with what to consume this close to an hour of interview length - can only be eight stocks; and as long as the question eight stocks, that was asked to the probability of not knowing the knowledge points, can soar. Section Kobayashi's Eight Shares. As long as you can stick to it, thunder and lightning, and don't rest on holidays, then rest assured that it will definitely pay off.
Sea cast, sea pen, sea surface. This one works well for non-big guys like me - for the big guys, pitch a few companies and positions that you want to go to the most, and then punch theSSPIt's done; but for the average person, no one knows whether their fall recruitment is full or nothing. So in the face of the unknown, the only thing you can do is to sea cast. I had a strategy at that time - because I brush up less, so many times some Internet companies do very poorly in the written test, and after the test, I know it's cool; then as long as this situation occurs, I will go back to the casting3
