This paper describes a system based onViewSpec Prosoftware that willASDAcquired by the GeoSpectrometer.asdformat files, batch convert them to generic.txtMethods for text format files.

ASDThe spectrometer is a BritishMalvern PanalyticalThe company has developed a series of field portable full-range spectroradiometers and spectrometers that can acquire real-time spectral information of features. After we use the equipment products in this series to acquire the spectrum of the ground feature, the default is to.asdformat file to store; and this file format is relatively not popular, we often need to convert it to other more shareable file formats. In this article, we will introduce a way to convert.asdformat files into.txtMethods for formatting documents.

First, we need to download and installViewSpec ProSoftware. It is important to note that this software can be downloaded directly for free, theis notCan only be installed into theASDin the computer that accompanies the device. We enter theOfficial download site, then click on the download option on the right side; as shown in the figure below.

Once the download is complete, we can begin the installation; the installation process is shown below.

Once the installation is complete, we open theViewSpec Prosoftware and select the top left corner of the "File”→“Open" option; as shown in the figure below.

Next, in the window that pops up, we select the file we need to convert..asdformat file, import it into theViewSpec Prosoftware; then, we in the upper left corner of the software, in turn, select "Process”→“ASCII Export" option, as shown below.

It is important to note here that after selecting the above option, the software will automatically import all of the already imported files in the window.asdThe document was processed.

This will be followed by a pop-up "ASCII Export"Window. We first configure the type of data we need to export at the location of the upper purple box shown below (which is generally the choice of reflectance); subsequently, the checkbox in the lower purple box shown below is generally checked, thus ensuring that multiple spectral curves are placed in one.txtformat file, thus facilitating the reading and further processing of the spectral curve data at a later stage.

Afterwards, click on "OK", you can add the result of the file name and path settings, and then start the file format conversion. Wait a moment, the conversion can be completed; as shown in the figure below, I here deal with the5clause (of law or treaty).asdformat file, the number of data to be processed will also be displayed in the Processing Completed prompt box.

At this point, we can see.txtThe result file in format has been generated; as shown below.

Opening the result file, you can see that it has been internally5The original data for the bars were merged together; as shown below.

At this point, the job is done.
