User feedback: information technology projects all failed, the supplier has changed a batch of

Recently exchanged technical solutions with users in key industries and user feedback during casual conversations:Information technology projects have all failed, and the vendors have all changed.

Party A can say such a truth reacts to how much heartache and helplessness behind the scenes, spending money and time-consuming, just to prove themselves wrong, or even everyone is wrong.

I just flicked it back:Nowadays, it is really not easy for Party A to find Party B to choose, and the level of suppliers also varies.I have always held this view. Thinking differently, I've always held this view, and of course it's a sideways proof that we still have a heart and a conscience when we do our projects.

Why in the end in a user here such a common phenomenon? Comrades who have done the project can give out N reasons, such as: low price of the project, unclear requirements, poor management of project execution, poor staff level, etc..

At least, from my experience with users, they are better users. They have a project mission statement and requirements document, there is no barrier to communication, they are not the lowest bidder, and they pay back well. In my perception, they are a better quality customer.

In short, there are various reasons for the failure of a project, and everyone will look for the reasons from their own perspectives, and it is difficult to find a main reason. And a company's R & D person in charge of small talk, he feedback that their company's traditional strengths in the field of the project to do okay, but other pioneering areas to do worse, he analyzed the reasons are:1) If the company's products don't work, it doesn't have the DNA to develop them; (2)) Project personnel are more volatile; (3)) The new project replacement always wants to start all over again when they see what they have done in the previous project.. This is a more honest way of saying why Company B's self-analysis project failed.

Can you find a common cause of project failure from A and B?? First of all I don't think it has much to do with technology, management, or cost. Have to find one common reason why programs fail, IMO:A and B are playing a speculative game from top to bottom (formula: A speculates) || B speculation =(Project failure). This can only be enlightened by everyone, but not explained too much.

The year before last, I tracked a project with a budget of 20 million, tracked it for 15 months, and finally let other companies take it at the lowest price of more than 11 million. On a business trip some time ago, the regional leader gave feedback that the company did not do a good job on the project either.

Maybe the world is made up of straw men and people don't have to take it too seriously.
